State Volleyball Bracket has been released for the State Tournament.
Swink Lady Lions have a bye the first round and will play Thursday at 3:30pm.
Tickets – Please buy tickets and parking online and in advance! CHSAA ticket prices are $15 for adults and $12 for students (kids 5 and under free) and senior citizens (60+).

Freshman wrote argumentative essays in Mrs. Schleich's English class. Miley (homework) and Rio (ear buds) presented to the board of education their topics.
Congratulations to Derek for being chosen for the All State Choir. Derek was one of 300 high school students chosen from 1,545 students who auditioned for the All State Choir across the state. The performance will be in mid-January in Denver.
Congratulations again to Derek.
There will be no school on Thursday, November 14, due to state volleyball.
Send off for the volleyball team will be Wednesday afternoon at 3:30pm.

Artist of the Week is Rose who used this process to create the background for her ocean themed linoleum print.
Relief printmaking is one of the more basic types and requires a raised inked surface. By removing areas from a material that you don’t want to be inked and inking only raised areas, you can easily transfer the image onto a surface. This process dates back to 200 A.D.

Swink will host Region 4 Volleyball on Saturday, November 9, starting at 10 am.
Here is the lineup for the regional tournament.
Game 1 - #4 Swink vs #33 Loveland Classical (Swink = Home)
Game 2 - #21 Burlington vs #33 Loveland Classical (Burlington = Home)
Game 3 - $4 Swink vs #21 Burlington (Swink = Home)
As this is postseason play and the gate prices are set by CSHAA, all adults are $10, senior citizens and all students are $7. All students, staff, staff family members, senior citizens, etc must pay. The only passes that will be accepted are CSHAA passes.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK-Larriana Taggart is this week's featured artist. Intermediate art students were asked to create an image in Reverse draw. Typically paper is white and you add dark values. This concept builds a student's drawing skills by inverting the image with black paper and white values. Larriana is holding her final drawing of an owl with a full moon.

FALL HARVEST FOOD DRIVE
