Swink High School STEaM students are finishing up their SeaPerch underwater robot! 🌊🤖
What is SeaPerch? SeaPerch is a hands-on STEM program where students learn engineering and robotics by building and operating a small underwater robot called a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
Students construct their robots using materials like PVC pipe, motors, and wiring, then test and pilot them underwater to complete missions and challenges. Along the way, they learn about buoyancy, electrical circuits, engineering design, and teamwork while developing strong problem-solving skills and exploring marine and ocean engineering.
We are proud of you!

Today marked the 100th day of School for Swink School. Some students and teachers wanted to share in the fun by dressing up today as elderly individuals. They did an awesome job recognizing the 100th day of school.

The Gifted and Talented Students united with the STEAm Club Students to attempt to " Beat The Bomb." Students utilized and enhanced their problem-solving skills, teamwork, communication, and numerous other skills to solve a variety of STEM, memory, and maze challenges. The students also had a STEM Lab Activity that involved making slime. Learning and Fun was had by all throughout the day.

The seniors wanted to pose with their senior portraits. Thank you again to Mrs. Bickel and the elementary art students for creating the portraits. Getting all the seniors together at once is almost impossible, so we have a few individuals.
