Swink School District wants all of our community members to have information about the Summer Meal Program Sites. Meals are free to all kids and teens 18 years and younger. In rural locations, some meals may be taken home to eat. Parents do not need to apply to the program for their children to get free summer meals. Even though Swink School District does not offer this program, parents and youth can find summer sites by texting FOOD or COMIDA to 304-304 or visit www.kidsfoodfinder.org. Meals served follow USDA nutrition guidelines.

The Swink FFA Chapter competed at State CDE this week in Ft. Collins. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments. Farm Business Management gave it their all, with Jocelynn James earning a bronze placing. Food Science showed up and showed out, with Trista Tomky earning gold and the team—Mollie Schreivogel, Aislynn Martin, and Analeia Hand—bringing home a bronze. Milk Quality had an incredible day—Carter Pickering earned gold, Ethan Lockhart took silver, and the team, along with Miles Turner and Taven Romero, secured a silver placing and some new hardware for our trophy case. Livestock may not have placed, but with only Keegan Martin representing us, we are incredibly proud of his commitment and effort. Floriculture absolutely shined! Katie Pickering, Sabryna Su, and Jennifer Gardner each earned gold individually—and as a team! We are so proud of all our students for their time, dedication, and energy representing us at CSU Fort Collins. What a beautiful day to be a Lion 🦁
