Matt is scoring again with his 800 meter run winning 1st place with a time of 3 mins and 13 seconds. Way to go Matt!



Swink's very own Matt placed 2nd in the shot put at Colorado's Special Olympics. We are all so proud of Matt and thankful for all he does for our school's athletic programs.

What an amazing 2025 State Colorado FCCLA Conference for the Swink FCCLA!!!
Ms. Werner won two awesome advisor awards. We retired two state officers, Olivia and Sol, from two years of amazing service to the organization, and we inducted two new state officers: Melany as Vice President of Publications and Sabrina as Vice President of Finance. Oh, and wait—we have not mentioned all the members who qualified for Nationals in Orlando this summer in their competitive events. Details of all that are coming soon. Swink has such an amazing FCCLA Chapter!!!




Swink School will have three board member seats up for election in November. Come out on April 23 at 6:00 pm to BOCES to learn more about a board member's responsibilities and duties. Congratulations to Swink's very own Ms. Werner on being recognized at the 2025 Colorado FCCLA Conference as the award winner for both the Spirit of Advising and National Mentor Advisor Award. Ms. Werner will be recognized at the National FCCLA Conference in Orlando this summer. Congrats Ms. Werner and thank you for all you to do for Swink FCCLA and Colorado FCCLA.





Ensure you do not miss the 2025 Promenade at La Junta Trading Post on Saturday evening. Promanade will start 7:30 pm. Please come out and see our students all dressed up as they are introduced and the King and Queen of the 2025 Swink High School Prom will be announced.

Our secondary students in the Gifted and Talented Program toured the Museum of Illusions in Denver today, experiencing very cool scenes and challenging their minds to think abstractly.
