Congratulations to Swink's very own Dianna Milenski, as she was the recipient of the 2025 Colorado BOCES Association All-State School Board Award. Mrs. Milenski has served for many years on the Swink School Board and the Santa Fe Trail BOCES Board. Thank you, Dianna, for your continued service and support of Swink Schools and all students in our region and across the state.

Congratulations to our Swink Volleyball Team as both the varsity and junior varsity teams won the Summit Summer League Volleyball Tournament. We can't wait for the 2025 Lion Volleyball season. #GoLions

The Swink FCCLA has taken on Nationals in Orlando this week. From competing in the national sports nutrition event, representing the Colorado State FCCLA as state officers, attending leadership workshops, and many more experiences, we are proud of these young adults in their achievements and their representation of Swink and Colorado at the National FCCLA Conference.

And those representing Swink FCCLA at National FCCLA in Orlando are off with an early morning trip to the airport. Good luck to those competing, those representing Colorado FCCLA as state officers, and current alumni presenting a workshop at nationals.

Melany is representing the Swink FCCLA Chapter at the state level as the Colorado FFA State Vice-President of Publications.

Sports physicals will be offered at Swink School in the New Gym on Saturday, July 19th, from 9:00 am until noon. No appointment necessary-just walk-in. The cost is only $10 and the proceeds will be donated to the volleyball program. If participating in a fall sport, all athletic paperwork and physicals need to be on-file with the office by August 4th.

Sabryna is representing the Swink FCCLA Chapter on the Colorado State FFCLA Officer Team as the Vice President of Finance.

Swink School District wants all of our community members to have information about the Summer Meal Program Sites. Meals are free to all kids and teens 18 years and younger. In rural locations, some meals may be taken home to eat. Parents do not need to apply to the program for their children to get free summer meals. Even though Swink School District doesn’t offer this program, parents and youth can find summer meal sites by texting FOOD or COMIDA to 304-304 or visit www.kidsfoodfinder.org. Meals served follow USDA nutrition guidelines.
