
Notice of Appointment to Board of Education
The Board of Education of the Swink #33 School District is accepting applications from persons interested in serving on the Board of Education from the date of appointment on February 12, 2024 until the next regular biennial school election in November 2025. To be eligible for appointment, each candidate must be a registered elector of the school district for at least twelve consecutive months prior to the date of appointment.
Any person who meets the qualifications and who desires to be considered for the appointment is invited to send a letter to the Board with a statement of interest and qualifications by Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 4pm, at Swink School District, PO Box 487, Swink, CO 81077. Letters may also be dropped by the Swink School District main office at 610 Columbia Avenue, Swink, CO 81077. The Board will interview prospective candidates on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 7:00pm at a public meeting.

Swink School 2nd Annual Throwback Night is Tuesday, January 23 vs. Swallows. Games will be played in the old gym with free admission and Throwback Concession Prices.
Alumni-wear your throwback letter jackets and other Swink memorabilia.


The Booster Club will have a meeting on Thursday, January 18, in the conference room right after school. Officers will be elected at this time. Anyone is welcome to come and join the Booster Club to help support Swink students.

Due to the forecasted subzero temperature and windchills, Swink School will have a two hour delay on Tuesday, January 16. No breakfast will be served.

Due to cold and windchill factor, Swink School will have a two hour late start Monday, January 15. No breakfast will be served.

Good luck to the high school girls and boys basketball teams tonight at Crowley County. Games start at 4:30 with JV boys, varsity girls, and then varsity boys. #GoLions #SwinkLions

Due to a heating issue in our gym, the basketball games will be played in Crowley County this Friday, January 12, 2024. JV boys start at 4:30 followed by Varsity girls and Varsity boys. We will host Crowley County on Jan 30, 2024, instead of going there.

The Swink School Booster Club will be meeting on Thursday, January 18th, immediately after school in the conference room. Officer elections will be taking place. Anyone interested in being part of the Booster Club is welcome to attend.
