#SwinkLions #GoLions

Congratulations to the 2025 Prom Royalty: King Nate and Queen Aubrey. Thank you to everyone who made prom a huge success and great evening for our students.

What an amazing 2025 State Colorado FCCLA Conference for the Swink FCCLA!!!
Ms. Werner won two awesome advisor awards. We retired two state officers, Olivia and Sol, from two years of amazing service to the organization, and we inducted two new state officers: Melany as Vice President of Publications and Sabrina as Vice President of Finance. Oh, and wait—we have not mentioned all the members who qualified for Nationals in Orlando this summer in their competitive events. Details of all that are coming soon. Swink has such an amazing FCCLA Chapter!!!

Swink School will have three board member seats up for election in November. Come out on April 23 at 6:00 pm to BOCES to learn more about a board member's responsibilities and duties. Hear from experienced board members on the role and impact that you can have. Please RSVP to 719.383.2623 or natalie.brown@sftboces.k12.co.us. Food will be provided at the informational meeting.

Congratulations to Swink's very own Ms. Werner on being recognized at the 2025 Colorado FCCLA Conference as the award winner for both the Spirit of Advising and National Mentor Advisor Award. Ms. Werner will be recognized at the National FCCLA Conference in Orlando this summer. Congrats Ms. Werner and thank you for all you to do for Swink FCCLA and Colorado FCCLA.

Ensure you do not miss the 2025 Promenade at La Junta Trading Post on Saturday evening. Promanade will start 7:30 pm. Please come out and see our students all dressed up as they are introduced and the King and Queen of the 2025 Swink High School Prom will be announced.

Awesome kickoff to the 2025 State FCCLA conference with Rio and Madalyn posting the colors to open the conference. State officers, Olivia and Sol, then performing duties and responsibilities during the opening session.

Our secondary students in the Gifted and Talented Program toured the Museum of Illusions in Denver today, experiencing very cool scenes and challenging their minds to think abstractly.

Our internet and phones are back up and working.

Good morning-our internet is down; therefore, our phone system is also down as it is internet based.
We will repost when things are back up and running.
